Makeup Revolution are a UK based brand and a lot of people probably own one product by them. Although they are infamous for dupes of Urban Decay, Too Faced and even a few Mac products! I've been eyeing up there most popular items (the chocolate bar palettes) ever since they were announced 2 years ago and when I saw they were on sale I had to pick up all of them! The first two that I got are the Death By Chocolate and I Heart Chocolate palettes, which by looking at them are pretty much identical to the Too faced palettes.
Let's take a closer look at the comparisons (note: I don't own the too faced palette so I'm going off of the Google Image photos...ffs)

First thing you can notice is that packaging of these are very similar, more like a chocolate bar ready to be eaten kind of thing. Personally, I like the Makeup Revolution one more because, it looks really appealing and very adorable.
The second thing is that the placement of the shades are pretty much identical, besides a few that are switched around. The pigmentation of these palettes are almost identical, although they do need a lot of work to reach the highest pigmentation but, it is totally doable with a good primer and patience.
Let's also not forget the price difference of these two. The Too Faced palettes are usually are so round £39 which for me is far to much for a small sized palette. The Makeup Revolution palette only costs £8 and it has the same quality as the Too Faced one.
Something that always kind of pushed me towards buying the Too Faced palette was the scent of chocolate but, personally after a while it did kind of give me a headache like all strong scented products do. Whereas the Makeup Revolution one does have the same scent, it's more subtle and won't give you a headache and you can only really smell it if you put your nose right up close to it. It isn't a cocoa kind of chocolate either it's more of a strawberry and cocoa combo.
I thought it would be easier to review these palettes both together since there are 6 in total and I would probably be here forever writing different reviews.
Death By Chocolate
This palette is more of the dark neutrals which are perfect for a smokey eye. This palette (like all of them) has a faint chocolate smell which does linger but, it smells so nice! My face whenever I use this palette is honestly Umaru Chans. It made me crave hot chocolate for some reason.
The colours in the palette are gorgeous and dark. I use the colours all the time for my everyday eye make up looks. The colours range from neutrals to dark.

1st Row. White Light, Don't Let Go, Break Me Up, Consume Me, All Is Lost.
White light is a normal light shade. It has a slight pink undertone to it and can be used as either a highlight or a base. This shade personally doesn't show up on my skin very well but, it is very pigmented.
Don't Let Go is a brown shimmery shade and personally is my favorite shade in this palette, it has a golden shift and looks gorgeous as an all over lid shade. The only complaint is that this shade has a bit of fallout.
Break Me Up is more of a dark taupe shade which could be used as a light crease shade, I don't see myself using this often though.
Consume Me was the only shade that I was dissapointed by. In the pan it looks like a shimmery dark brown shade but, in reality it's more along the lines of more matte dark brown and it isn't that pigmented.
All is Lost is just a dark dark brown/black matte colour. Perfect for the crease.

2nd Row: Lick Me, Fool's Gold, One More Bar, Devour Me, Tear The Wrapper, Love You to Death.
Lick me is a pastel pink matte shade. It's quite out of place in this palette so I would probably use this as a base shade.
Fool's Gold is self explanatory really. It's a shimmery gold shade and similar too Don't Let Go, it's rather crumbly and has a lot of fallout but, it's gorgeous and very blendable.
One More Bar is a matte brown shade. More like a yellow based brown really. Like Chocolate!
Devour Me is a dark brown, not much to explain here.
Tear The Wrapper is a gorgeous shimmery copper shade. Perfect for all over lid shade.
Love You To Death which, in the pan looks like a black shade with purple shimmer but, it's actually kind of a blacked out purple matte colour, it does reflect purple shimmer though just not as much.

3rd Row: Pray For Me, Dipped, Tease Me, Set Me Free, Bring Down Angels.
Pray For Me is a light brown shimmery shade, good for crease and possibly all over shade.
Dipped is a shimmery taupe/pink shade.
Tease Me is a dark brown shimmer shade which is also slightly greyed out.
Set Me Free is a nude shimmer which would work great for a highlight shade.
Bring Down Angels is a golden shimmer and I love this! It's pale enough to be an all over shade but also shimmery enough to be used as a highlight

I Heart Chocolate
This is the thing that put Makeup Revolution on the books. The Chocolate Bar dupe! The comparison I did at the beginning of the review shows how similar these palettes are. It's definitely something you should consider if you can't dedicate £39 on a palette. The colours in this palette are all dark brown and neutrals which, is perfect as an everyday look kind of on-the-go travel palette.
1st Row: You Need Love, Piece Me Together, One More Piece, Love Torn, Stolen Chocolate.
You Need Love is a matte nude shade which is perfect for a highlight
Piece Me Together is a olive green shimmery shade, which is perfect for a crease colour.
One More Peice is a matte brown shade with a yellow undertone. Perfect for a crease colour or maybe even an all over lid shade.
Love Torn is my favorite of this palette. It's like a dark burgandy shimmer shades with gold reflects. I usually wear this as an all over shade and the pigmentation is amazing.
Stolen Chocolate is a dark brown matte shade, and similar to the other matte shades this one is quite chalky and has quite a bit of fallout.

2nd Row: Thank Friday, More!, Pleasure Girl, Meet Chocolate, Unforgivable, Love Devine.
Thank Friday is a dark peach kind of shade. Or maybe a light brown. I think it will be good as a base or possibly a transitional shade.
More! Is a shimmery nude shade which has slight golden reflects.
Pleasure Girl is a matte caramel shade or a light brown, perfect for a crease colour or an all over colour.
Meet Chocolate is a matte light pink colour, this is the only colour in this palette that isn't that pigmented although I swatched it hard. Such a shame :(
Unforgivable is a dark purple with a pink shift, this is dark enough for an under eye colour or a crease colour as the shift isn't that strong.
Love Devine is a gorgeous copper shimmer shade which has extreme pigmentation.

3rd Row: Smooth Criminal, Chocolate Love, You Need More, What A Way To Go, Endorphins Ready!
Smooth Criminal is a light copper shimmer shade which looks good as an all over lid shade.
Chocolate Love is a golden shimmer perfect to add sparkle to any look.
You Need More is similar to Pleasure Girl but shimmery, putting these two together would create a lot of pigment for all over lid coverage.
What A Way To Go is a burgundy colour very similar to Love Torn except this has a gold and small blue shift/reflects in it.
Endorphins Ready is another nude shimmer shade which is perfect for highlights or as a base.
These palettes are perfect for any chocolate lover and for £7 each they really are something you should consider being added to your Chocolection! (get it? No? Okay..) these are also palettes that are perfect to be added to your collection. They are a must have drugstore product!
thanks for reading! more to come soon! ^^
