Pokemon Sun and Moon. What we expect in Gen 7.

Oh damn, Pokemon Sun and Moon. It wasn't the announcement we were looking for but, it certainly was a better announcement. (although, everyone is still eagerly awaiting the Pokemon Z or Omega Emerald)

I've been reading plenty of blogs and watched alot of videos to add my speculation on what I think this game has to offer for us.
My only concern is what Pokemon this game is going to throw at us, I mean how can Game Freak keep getting ideas for Pokemon. Especially since there is literally a Pokemon made from rubbish, A candle, A set of keys...Who knows maybe this Gen we will FINALLY have a kettle and teacup Pokemon.

Nah but, in all honesty I am pretty excited and also kinda nervous to see what Game Freak are going to throw at us. I've watched a few videos suggesting where this game is going to be set aswell. I am SO hopeful that it is going to be set in the undiscovered sections of the Hoenn region but, we can only dream. Another specualtion is that this game is going to be based in a Hawaiian inspired land? I still haven't found any indication that this would be true but, it still would open up a whole new genre of Pokemon and maybe even more Water type Pokemon.

I kind of really want a new type of Pokemon, Space maybe? they can't just throw these names at us and not expect us to want a Space type Pokemon. Having a Space type Pokemon would open up a whole new realm for the Pokemon world and give Game Freak a wider range of ideas to play around with.

I noticed in the recent Pokemon games that they're getting more and more realistic in the idea of using Pokemon in everyday life. Like, how in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, Machomps were helping the miners move rocks. Or in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire how they were also using Pokemon to carry around furniture and do house work.

I kinda loved in the Teaser there was a drawing of a Blastoise being used as a Firetruck.

I hope in Sun and Moon they create more ideas for the players to explore the areas more and to provide more side quests so the Player isn't entirely focusing on the Storyline. Which, like every game is usually just getting Pokemon and beating all 8 gyms...you kind of get the idea. I think it would be a good idea to make the game less boring and repetitive by adding these kind of side quests and missions inbetween beating gyms.

(A/N: I know that Pokemon games have a few side missions already but, most of the time you really have to look for them. I'm suggesting that they're easier to look for and there are more of them.

I do hope that they don't do another Black and White move by basing the game around new Pokemon, like in most games they usually mix and match new gen with old to give a nostalgic feeling to them. I also feel like they can add a new enemy to the game with an actual purpose, the recent 'Teams' in Pokemon have been lame since 3rd Gen. The Teams have no purpose now and the reasoning behind them being a thing is completely thrown out the window. Black and White's Team Plasma is what I'm hinting at now. They had no purpose at all, the idea that they were some form of Pokemon Elitists that don't want Humans to use Pokemon to battle was a great idea but, it totally got thrown off course. (If they're trying to stop people using Pokemon for battles, why are they using Pokemon to battle..?)

That's all we can hope for from seeing the teaser. I heard that the official trailer is being shown this month so, this post will be edited when that's out! This is just a little read on my thoughts currently.
What do you think/wish for in the new Gen?
